Self-Pamper - Indulgence vs Extravagance

We live in a hectic world, and most of you would actually agree on this. Our daily life might appear very robtic in nature- you know, it's all about, WAKE UP, GO WORK/CLASS, COME BACK and SLEEP. Fill up some 'meals' in between. In summary, we're all lacking of fun! Once in a while, our soul might scream out of protestations! Then, it rings in your mind, maybe you need to be PAMPERED to some extend.

And when that happens, you will find most women heading for manicure/pedicure, SPA massage, hair treatment, facial, shopping and of course carbs and fat ! I'm not sure about men, they're from different planet, you see.

Sometimes, I often think, is self-pamper really necessary? Every cent is hard-earned and hell yeah, tossing them for self-pamper, will actually put me into difficult situation. It's like, should I or should I not.And maybe I reassure myself by saying, it's okay, just this once. This sounds sort of like I'm trying hard to forgive myself !

Actually, if you're looking for a cheaper options to pamper yourself, the following ideas might be helpful:

- Read a book - You don't have to buy it all the time, just rent one from the nearest library. Grab of almost anything relaxing, how about romance genre?

- Go for movies - At least it cheaper than of pedicure package. You save much if you're renting DVD's.

- Backpacking - If not to the Alps, at least you can go to Broga Hill, or maybe Penang Hill :P

-Cooking or baking - It's an art of self-expression. Come on, bring up the hidden talent.

You should pamper yourself at times, to free yourself from stress effect. Yeah, after working 7/24, motivation is absolutely necessary. If you could afford a pedicure, why not? After all, life is not just living for others, and remember money comes and goes too.

The Art of Letting Go

No matter how much we like something or someone, sooner or later we'll have to learn to let go. It is not easy, but we can't continue clinging to them forever. Life is short, and most accurately unpredictable. Change is a law of life, by letting go, we are growing spiritually.

How To Let Go

1. Avoid being obsessed with worldly material, including property and relation. Nothing is eternal, and nobody will be with us forever.

2. When we are angry over anyone, think twice before reacting to them. What's the point shouting to people who don't understand or probably might never understand out situation. Calm down and save your energy!

3. When we didn't get something expected, don't get furious. Instead of living life with strict plans and expectation, try living as what people say 'follow the flow'. There should always be a Plan B.

4. What had happened, can't be fixed for better. Thus, no point lamenting over and over. Move on, as new life event is about to take place.

5. No matter what others say about you, the judge is yourself, because you know of yourself better than others.

Gold is not reactive, but yet it has good value. Letting go is never a sign of failure or a symptom of cowardice. It is just a key to unlock your future.

Job world is a new era for every fresh graduates. Job life is not easy, and that is why we hear many silent longing to return to college life. College life was tiring but yet it was blossomed with friendship and fun! Working life is unpredictable and full of manipulation. Colleagues cannot always be compared to your friends. Everyone is hungry of position and better salary increament - thus anything is possible!

If you're a fresh graduate who is hunting for job :

1. Please do a detailed research before getting assigned with a job (Attend few interview, compare and contrast before you make any choice).

2. Be aware of your rights and stand for them (Being too demanding for high pay isn't good, but at least demand for the allowances and medical benefits, at least after the probation period).

3. Be sure of your job scope. Be polite, humble and kind, but everything has a limit. Don't allow work bully!

After joining in the job :

1. Learn to respect others and don't show off about your qualification. It is always BEST to start all over again.

2. Learn from everyone, despite of their age or qualification.

3. Voice out your disatisfaction in a proper way. Treat everyone with mercy.

4. Learn to be patient and to let go when things aren't working the way you planned.

5. Instead of being money-minded, be career-minded.

6. Work smartly, know your colleagues well, including their advantages and drawbacks. Make use of the advantages and possibly avoid situations which triggers their drawback.

Working life is full of manipulation and rich in different human nature. Over-protesting is not a solution and might lead you to lose your job. Be yourself and accept the challenge to sharpen your co-existing skills. Beginning is tough, but it leads to experience which is priceless. Remember every expert starts from zero!

Temporary Marriage ??

Officials in Mexico have brought up a new way to abate the divorce rate, and that is by making marriage temporary! Couples can decide their marriage contract, a minimum of 2 years is required for this bonding. The contract will contain legalese like financial support, how's marital assets are to be divided and who will get the custody of the kids. At the end of the contract, happy or semi-happy couples could opt to renew their contract. Otherwise, they could just walk away without any legal hassles.

This issue is relatively a shock, as Mexico has the second largest population of Catholics. Temporary marriage doesn't sound ethical. Anyway, the Catholic Church isn't very keen of this idea as the authorities strongly believe this reform as absurd and it contradicts with the nature of marriage.

Temporary marriage is also legal in Iran and it can as short as few minutes or as long as couples' lifetime. Contract marriage is considered as a loophole in Islamic law, as it helps to decrease sex out of wedlock. In Iran conduct of aldutery is punishable by whipping to death. ]

Anyway, if marriages too are into contract, where will be the value in it? Marriage are not suppose to be for fun. Or is this how the world thinks currently?
